A damn good cook.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm going to have to talk to the wifey. We actually put more than cheese in ours. She uses the spiced up taco meat we make and some cheese. Lay's them in the black iron with a slight bit of butter and allows them to lightly brown on the outside. Then when she takes them off she puts sour cream inside and picco degallo. (I must admit this is probably a redneck spin on quesadillas -- but it is very good). I could eat these things till I pop :D

We're having some Northern beans cooked in the crock pot with a ham hock, some cooked cabbage in the black iron pan, some mac-n-cheese with some pepper jack grated over the top and baked till it looks good in the oven, along with several slices of bacon. Hey -- tell me what brand/type of bacon you guys buy and eat. I'm hooked on bacon right now ;)

I've never seen what the fuss is all about with tator tot casserole. I'm not much for the veggies and it just doesn't do it for me. Maybe i need to make it myself and do it up right. The venison sure would be a great addition
