Fine eats...can wear the oysters out, either raw or fried.

Yes Sir, I love them, Fried, stewed, and raw with some vinegar. We are blessed to have them close to me, plus my brother in law lives down there. Been eating them since I was a tiny kid. Granddaddy had them here before I was even born!

May not be for supper, but it’s right on time for a cool, *s-wordty, non-stop rain kinda day. Gonna make a skillet of cornbread to go with the Great Northern beans and leftover T’giving frozen ham pieces. I’ll figure out supper later...

We ate a bunch of Oysters when I lived in New York and Texas. Haven't had a lot since I moved to the Midwest. That big jar sure looks good.
Please post some pics of the Oyster stew.

Breakfast this morning. Took the scalloped potatoes from the other night and added onions and cut up ham. When it was done made 2 over hard eggs.

Had some twice baked potatoes and a couple New York strips for dinner with the wife. She was very happy as her cold has let up enough for her to actually taste dinner tonight which made it all the better for her. Tomorrow we are going to do some meatballs and pasta. Don’t have to go anywhere for the holidays but that is mainly do to her cold.

Man were these delicious. Wife wants these again so time to start adding some things to them. These were just burger and egg for a binder then some garlic salt pepper and chopped onion. Next time I’ll add some green or red peppers. This last kidney stone has me eating more and more fruits and veggies but I’m good with it. Couple weeks ago we had stuffed green peppers and ate every bit of the peppers which I never did as a kid.
