Evening fellas...haven’t posted over here in a little while but do check in and look at the groceries and read all posts. Ready for something fried so I sentenced my last green tomato, last two little squash, and six center cut chops to a 350 deg peanut oil, deep fryer bath. Some good eats. And of course...washed down with about half a gal of milk.

12oz Prime Top Sirloin. Potato with all the fixings and some Asparagus.
I found the steaks at Sam's. They were expired and marked down to $4 for two of them. Not as good as dry aged strips but for a $2 steak, pretty damn good.

The asparagus, I am sure you are teasing me, Ha ha ha!! We used to have a asparagus bed here at the farm, until the cows tramped it down. I do dearly miss it!!

Leftover meat loaf, corn and garlic mashed potatoes(heated the loaf on the charcoal grill and added a little bbq sauce, charred the corn too) roasted veggies, and grilled ciabatta bread. Was damn good!

We like the KFC fried chicken, one down the street from where mama works. I also have a craving for buttermilk the last few weeks, been drinking a quart a day lately.

Went to Fogo tonight for the first time. Food was great but the service was lacking or they quit serving my neighbor and me. Either way I would do it again. Not anytime soon after getting my bill

That can go either way.
At times, when it's only me, I'll grill a steak.
Other times, it Cheerios.

Homemade U.P recipe pasties. Ones in the left are beef and on the right are vegetarian. We love them from a certain place up there and I figured them out a few years ago. Fresh local sweet corn and my ladies potato salad, and raspberry pie from our farm market. Was awesome good!

My first succotash of the season, got 35 ears from the man that helps me, not to bad, but I like the white corn better. ( Will have Silver Queen soon ) This is bi-color corn, mostly yellow.
