Couldn't wait, had to try a couple smoked ones out!! Hmm, liking these things! Guess I have been missing out for 60 years.

Thursday was my wife's birthday. I was out of town, so I fixed one of her favorites today.

I steamed a few pounds of King Crab legs. When I fix these, we just stand at the island in the kitchen, with a bowl of melted butter and chow down.
They're damn good.

In a bit, we'll be having a piece of Lemon Cheesecake that she baked earlier today.

Finished the peas up tonight with chicken patties, and fake smashed potatoes. Toast and molasses on the side, for dessert.

Med/rare dry aged strip steak on the grill with a little blue cheese. Sautéed some baby gold, red and blue potatos and baked some Brussels sprouts. The steak was excellent, the Potatos very good and the sprouts inedible. My wife looked at the sprouts and said; I'm not eating that $hit and she was right.
Oh well......two out of three ain't bad.
Frozen Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies and another big glass of milk for dessert.

LOL! I have to agree with the wife, sprouts are one of the very few things that I don't eat. Never did like them.

The daughter was home this weekend for her great aunts 100th birthday party. Since she likes barbecue and Cole slaw so much I made some in the crock pot, and mama made some homemade Cole slaw for her to take back to school today. Made some poppers for her to try also, she really liked them too, so she took some of them back also.

Also last nights supper.
