Last night was a frozen burger patties on the grill with taters, beets, and snaps from the garden, and tomatoes with Dukes on the side.

Fresh sweet corn from a stand down the road, sliced tomatoes, roasted red potatoes with sauce or dipping, fried chicken legs using drakes fry mix with a little added seasoning and a glass of A&W root beer..

Was darn good!!!

Cold cut combo, with onions, sweet peppers and Jalapeños, from Subway.
I did add Salami, ham and cheese, when I got it home.
Watermelon for desert.

Cheap steaks, chuck steaks. Had these, baked taters, frozen corn, hot sausages and some Texas toast. Yep it was good. (These were cheap, and I was game -- the family said they were great).

I think this is hilarious. I've eaten quite a bit of soul food -- not all of these in the form they are sampled. But it is fairly funny.
