Can't let this thread die ! lol
How's that ST synthetic running ?

Oil threads never die. They're invincible and stuff. Still running the supertech synthetic. Been thinking of switching to Amsoil Saber. Even running it at 40 to 1 the cost would be the same as super tech....at least up here. Anyone use Amsoil saber? Any good?

Husky XP + (the newer oil they have). 37E80AC7-F8E1-4AFB-BC80-90D6ECF58061.jpeg64CDD501-1C02-4673-83B6-C851B1DF5DD1.jpeg 6694674B-320C-40DA-8855-9552D51EB3B9.jpegBD1FCE6A-60D9-4396-A940-904AB57F4ABF.jpeg Saw was ran hard logging. It already had a lot of time on it before this oil was used. But last few gallons were with this oil. No thick buildup or staining inside the cases and good layer of oil over everything. Spark screen stays clean. Ran at 40:1.

Going to be running Supertec syn mixed with Supertec regular. 25% syn

Tested the VP seemed about the same as Supertec syn.

Tested most mix oils but not B&S yet or Klotz anything.

Blue and red oil makes purple. Schools out now.

It's blue so its ok .I have been running it 48 to 1 for the last year ,smaller stuff like weedeaters run better for me than 40 to 1 and the exhaust dont stink as bad ,i came up with 48 to 1 because 1.5 gallon can is 4 oz ,just easy to mix out of the bottle .

I’m using it but havnt come to yes or no as yet but it’s cheap compared to most fully synthetics

I am a fan of klotz super, and it is red in color , smells fantastic , lubes very well, with nice coat on the piston skirt , minimum build up on piston top and muffler, and perfect @ 40-1 in most later models saws ...this is ( another oil thread) are they new over here on this site?...:)

I'm running saber , even at 50:1 I'm still getting wet exhaust. Thinking about 60:1 but no less than that.

I’ve thought about it lol, just took apart an echo 355t that I’ve ran pretty hard the last couple years that has been tuned on verge of being to lean @ 50:1 not even 4 stroking after several long cuts in this southern heat. The bearings and bottom of the clamshell were completely covered in layers and layers of oil lol.
