All I know is another case of KL-200 on the way. Why switch when it never fails you. :risas3::aaaaa:

Guys love it local that I have turned onto it and like buying it in the quarts instead of little bottles. 1 qt they get 2 5gal cans 40:1. Yes even in all OPE they run.
One guy said to make sure I had 2 qts a month ready for him.

I run Klotz Ski-Craft in my Lawnboy. Not because its any sort of great oil, but for the smell alone.

When you really think about it the differance in fuel flow when switching from 32 to 50:1 is pretty slight. A ten degree swing in temp would likely have more of an effect on A/F ratio.

So what you are saying is it's ok to run 40:1 or even 32:1 in a machine with a non adjustable carb that the manufacturer says to run 50:1?

I've been wanting to, but scared to change to 40:1 in the equipment at work because some of it has non adjustable carbs.

Also if you could only choose between Stihl ultra, Red armor or one of the husqvarna oils, which would be the best choice?

Do you notice any water droplets inside the muffler or crankcase with the KL200 ?

Actual water droplets? Or maybe oil pearled up? I sure hope its not involved with water in the muffler!

Weird Kevin. Internals and bearings look good though.

Condensation? I notice on certain humid rainy days it condensates on saw mufflers sitting around in garage. Probably the internals too. The 2 stroke oil acts as rust protection I believe.

Thus why I don't run my saws in the rain. Lol

I was going to say looks like condensation to me too. When cold outside and weather changes. Notice that on my tool boxes, tools, etc. Even outside saws.
Never had one pulled down during a day with heavy condensation to see that though. Not any oils fault for condensation JMO.
Bet my lawn tractors, push mowers, truck etc all do that just dont see it.

On a normal day with no condensation. Never seen anything like that.

I’ve run them in snow quite a bit. I don’t think water could ever form in the combustion chamber. Droplets down in bottom end. Meh. Probably never effect anything in real world. I’m wrong a lot but that’s how I feel about it

Reminds me. Thinking about it. You know some folks saws that have rings rust to cylinders after setting. Betting on condensation helping that.
Matter fact just had a saw sent in and was froze up. Guessing rings stuck to cylinder. Sprayed some penetrate and let set soaking. Turning through now for tear down next.

Ever notice steam from a car’s exhaust on a cold or rainy day? Condensation.
