Tried some red armor oil this winter. Made everything I put it in much"stiffer" to pull over and start. Also cold weather performance suffered. Experiment is over for me, going back to blue oil. That's as much as I can report, carry on oilers.
Red armor didn’t blow me away either when I ran it. Was it the worst? No, far from it. It did burn clean I thought.

I never tried red armor due to price. I’m really digging the cheap low smoke husqvarna oil. I’ll have a piston picture next week. Stuff is holding a tune spot on with that stuff. I don’t like Lucas or klotz benol. Lucas is trash. Benol is a little too hard to burn. Also castor doesn’t work when it’s cold. I cut in the cold most of the time. Other than those two I like about anything.

I cut all winter with Red Armor and did not notice any issues that with it. Worked fine. I also used VP SEF with it.

I bought lots of Red armor from my dealer a while back. Didn't really notice it to be anymore expensive than other oils.
