I have both of those left. The belray is drill bit lube now.o_O The 800 I'll use when milling but only then. It doesn't burn as clean just cutting firewood unless it's big bucking cuts.
I haven't noticed any dirtiness running 800 @ 32:1. But I'm not running it in pump gas either.

My 261 seems like a different saw with 40:1 over 32:1. Sounds different as well. It may all be in my head..
Well, for every cylinder stroke of fuel, you get 25% more gasoline at 40:1 compared to 32:1, which has replaced that gas (delta) w/ oil....

i run full synthetic Woodland Pro from Bailey's at 40:1. Why?- bc I have 2 cases of it.

My BIL runs that oil. It looks fantastic with the blue dye! No mistaking if you mixed, or didn't mix..

I've ran technoplate with vp 93 for ever. I've tried all ratios and settled on 40:1 and everything has a good slimy coat of oil when you tear down. Klotz might be dirty but it protects amazing and I love the smell, reminds me of my motorcycle days.
13$ a quart where I'm at, I've ran a bunch of benoil also but it costs more.

The color on klotz and Mobil is almost none when mixed. I rarely keep regular gas in 1 gallon jugs so I don't confuse it with mixed gas. I used 87 octane and klotz super yesterday.

That is what I dont like about the motul, when it is mixed it is almost the same orange red as regular straight gas.
You are not the only one that uses only one gallon cans for mix. My wifey knows never to fill up equip. from the 5 gallon can, those are for vehicles only. And 5 gallon cans are too awkward for her as well to fuel up her hedgetrimmer.

I have one for VP fuel mixed and one for pump gas. I buy gas for the mower in the summer in 2 gallon cans. I rarely buy 5 gallons at a time unless I know I'll be milling a ton and go through 2-4 gallons in a day.
