Look at S&W 9mm’s and .380’s...right now several models with a $50 mail in rebate until the first week of December. I’m a Springfield XD, XDS, XDM man myself, have several...but the S&W deal right now is pretty sweet.

My review is it's a great value for a GAME GUN. Uspsa limited or carry optics division. Holster options are somewhat limited.
As a carry gun or a defensive use gun it's a poor choice. Especially as a carry gun.
If I were to buy a $400 full sized 9mm right now, i would choose the CZ.

Friend of mine bought one(he’s a corrections officer). Put a bunch of rounds through it and he loves the thing.

I've not heard anything really negative about them.
Too large for carry for me though, my scrawny ass can't hide a full size anywhere.
I had to really pay attention to clothing when I carried my XD40.
Now it's an XDs and much easier to hide.

The new Springfield hellcat is an interesting latest addition to the micro compact 9 fray, especially if you’re an SA fan.

The Canik is a great bang for the buck for a competition or range gun, haven’t heard anything really negative about them.
The Springfield Armory Hellcat made the front cover of December Guns & Ammo. Everything I’ve read says it’s good to go!

Summer time or winter time?, cause there’s a difference.

G19/23 is hard to beat if you can dress for it.

G43 if you can’t above.

A buddy bought one recently and I've put about 200 rounds through it in the last 6 months. The grip is a bit funky in the hand, but I got used to it quickly. The trigger is pretty good for a striker fire unit. It's fed and functioned flawlessly. It's fairly accurate, though I'm much more used to conventional SA and DA triggers, so many striker fire units are challenging to me. It's very large so carry is likely to be OWB. With a Red dot, I can ring steel plates pretty quickly. I could see the shorter barrel model as an EDC, but this one would be better reserved for either Open Carry/Private land/Home defense/Games.

Glock 43, front pocket is my everyday. Once in awhile a Kahr P38 or S&W J-frame, but not much anymore.

A now deceased friend in my Masonic lodge had a 42. It was the first .380 that I'd fired, and not only actually enjoyed, but was accurate with, and I'm not a huge fan of Glocks... I could see owning one.
