What top end would you all suggest
For a 660 with a worn out top end.
I need a durable p and c but don't want put a $250 to $300 in a saw that is only
Worth $400 to $5oo. Oem is good,
But I can't make money selling
That high doll stufff.
Is a meteor good, how about
Nwp? What will run good, but
Last and perform well

I've heard a few builder say they were unimpressed with Meteor cyclinder. I got my 064 cyclinder from @dustinwilt68 cause that cat is always coming across everything and mean everything!

I personally don't like rebuilding a saw with an aftermarket top end, especially one that I am selling back into commercial duty. But if OEM is out of the question the Cross Performance MMWS cylinders run very well. But, and this goes for any AM top end, you need to clean up the bevels before bolting it on.

I don't like aftermarket,
But trying to find a balance of
Price / quality that will do the job

I bought a meteor cylinder and piston kit for a MS440 and was impressed. My last oem 066 top end was free. It was on a carcass in a junk pile of saws.

Used oem, look for a junk saw carcass, do you have any logger buddies with a saw junk pile? Ask some old repair shops if they have a junk pile you can look through.

A few weeks give or take
It's his "big" saw
Cobey,
with the "cheapo" customers...I make DAMN sure they know the value and cost of AM parts and OEM which the saw was designed for and with...unless you work for free there is usually a cost associated with gambling on an AM part in a commercial operation( having to REDO the labor) where his living is based on your advice ...and HE being CHEAP on a commercial operation where his living is based on your results :(
