Dug out my attachments for the snap-on wire feed ,the spool gun is for aluminum ,and i have a tig torch ,i could never get a nice weld with that thing ,maybe you guys can give me some pointers on tig ,it does not have a foot control ,just a knob on the handle .

Well there is my first problem ,had no idea the red thing was a slider or controlled the amperage ,do i move the slide while welding like a foot pedal ? or just find a happy spot and run a bead ? I was told this wire feed will not tig aluminum ,but have not tried it yet /The knob is just to shut off the shield gas, just leave it open if you have a solenoid on the line. The red slider is what will control your amperage. Set your welder to AC for aluminum, DC- for steel. Use 100% argon.
