Maybe some unmarked stihl? Here's a pic of one of my chains. Every marking on it is the same as mine other than branding on the cutters themselves. IMG_20181218_175649113.jpg

Also judging by what I have on hand it seems that the number on the driver indicates gauge and in your case means .058? I know I don't have .058 on hand and mine are either marked #3 which I am pretty sure is .050 and I have #6, I'm thinking is .063.

It really looks like old school Oregon. Everything but the name on it.

With no name on the strap and a simple 8 on the driver. I’m gonna guess no one is proud to say it’s theirs. It has witness marks on it however. I’m guessing Chinese
That’s what I’m thinking as well

The hole in the driver makes me think stihl knock off as well. Some chain has it some doesn’t but stihl always does. Older chain that I remember just doesn’t In fact none of my Oregon does not Carlton not Windsor. However they all have the name stamped somewhere. I have a couple Asian loops they are also hole free. I’m guessing it’s an eBay chain

I've bought 2 forester chains. 1 came on a bar labelled forester, chisel with shark fins. Looked just like Carlton. The other was semi, looked nothing like the other loop. 2 completely different manufacturers both sold under the same name.

Deets, did you get that bar/chain combo from a very prominent eBay seller?

I got a similar combo a couple years ago ... had an Oregon chain ...
