My 346XP only had 3 tanks through it on a new OE cylinder and piston. Was running great, and set rich, when it suddenly went way lean. I just shut it down and went home thinking it must be an air leak. So I tested for pressure and vacuum of which it passed, and then checked the small screen in the carb. All clear, so after taking the metering side apart, look what was in the jet. I’m guessing maybe from the Welch plug sealant. You can sort of see it in the jet in the first picture, and in the tweezers n the second.

Has anyone here seen the same thing before?
