Was a Moe 394, now a Joe 395

I work crazy hours, usually 100+ hours every week.
I'm slow with builds and port work, but I really like taking my time with them.
I dont get as much play time (messing with saws) these days, but when I do, I love building 394/5's and 661's.
Without any more delay ..............................
This saw started out with Moe, and he really didnt take alot of time to maintain her. Poor saw, and unfortunately, there are some obstacles to overcome ..................

So lets start with the Magnesium threads
Some will get inserts, some will get ground away, welded back up, and drilled/tapped
If it isnt a blind hole, I allways clean the tap off before spinning it out

I made a big goof somewhere along the way, see if you can spot it.
Since Moe didnt take care of this saw, but I'll be dipped in dog doo if I dont do everything I can to make this right

Took me a while to find the crank, then I remembered that I'm dumber than a steaming hot turd on a frigid morning, and that I probably put everything together in a nice safe place ............... now where was that safe place ???

1/2 hour with a can of the closest matching paint one can find, and the old trusty heat gun, along with some breakfast, and she looks allmost as good as new. Anyone have a paint thats closer to the factory Husky color ?
Allways get some overspray where its not appreciated

So we're going to clean that up nicey-nice, but while the case halves are warm, we're going to drop in the new factory bearings

I dont like putting greased bearings into saws.
Grease has no business being in there
So, maybe it helps, maybe it doesnt, but I clean the grease out and oil with a 2 cycle oil that I dont like using in my mixx (Usually Lucas, but for little Joe, I'm going all out and using VP)
Look at them grease blobs .......... guess what happens when you run them ??
Hows about I add a little oil and give them a spin ?
Look closely ........... how is any oil supposed to get in there ?
Some say that the fuel rinses them clean ............ but I propose this question to that theory ..................
Dont you need liquid fuel to rinse with ???

Husqvarna actually sells paint in a spray can you can order from the dealer, they use it a lot on mower decks and such, it's very thin so it takes many coats to cover, around 13.00 a can if I remember correctly.
