Sorry guys - I have been pretty occupied with many things going on of late.

Drywall on the main level is finished and all primed. The paint crew was back today and have turned the office space a nice shade of McCulloch yellow and started in the kitchen/dining area with a light grey. The shop and the display area will be white.

The lighting does not do the yellow justice.

Lighting is up in the shop, again the camera cannot depict the real sense of it.

I sold a few saws last year and used the proceeds to purchase an air compressor for the new shop. I've been keeping it in my garage, until today...the builders crew came to move it in to its new home.

As you can see, I have a few McCulloch saws in the garage as well.

In order to make the best use of the available space in the new shop, the compressor will be located high on the wall in a corner by the big door.

Here it is in place, the 2x4 legs will go away when they get a cable installed from the corner of the shelf up to the ceiling. The framing crew got a little carried away creating the bump out for the breaker panel and intruded into the space for the guard of the compressor.

The drywall crew was working chasing down some cracks that were appearing.

I am traveling this week but Mrs. Heimann sent me a photo, the siding is almost complete on the west end.

I am in the Seattle (WA) area and was very fortunate to make contact with Wayne Sutton. He extended an invitation and I was able to spend a few hours looking over his museum collection.

Wayne is as nice a fellow as you could ever hope to meet...

20190518_151331.jpg

...and he has a most amazing collection, it is impossible to capture it in photos.

20190518_170034.jpg

This Jonsered was the subject of a hot saw build documentary in Chain Saw Age magazine.

His collection ranges far and wide, some really cool old Homelites for example.

How about the Stick Shift model with a two speed transmission.

20190518_163435.jpg

The Wasp Eclipse was restored by Wayne.

20190518_163418.jpg

Some Russian meddling here too.

20190518_164210.jpg

Look very carefully at these "John Deere" saws.

20190518_170016.jpg

In addition to saws, Wayne has a great selection of other logging tools and equipment, as well as an overwhelming assortment of Stihl promotional items.

It was the best way I can think of to spend an afternoon away from home.

I walked past today about noon to see...

20190530_115612.jpg

...electricians and HVAC crews were at work today.

HVAC crew was installing the duct that will run the length of the display area. The return will be located where the small hole is showing, and the two larger rectangular openings will be some additional storage up high for light weight items.

20190530_115714.jpg

The electricians were installing switches and receptacles, in the rooms that are already painted they are putting the covers on, in areas to be painted just some tape so the painters can complete their assignments.

20190530_115829.jpg

20190530_115913.jpg

The drywall crew finished in the attic and the painters are supposed to be finished this week.

20190530_120027.jpg

A different paint crew will be taking care of the floor and will be making a preliminary visit next Monday to get the battle plans laid out.

According to Wayne, the rebadged Homelite could be more valuable that the rebadged Echo Twin as odd as that may sound.

Mark - I'll see what happens in the next few weeks. They could start finishing the floors as early as next week if you wanted to see the place "in process".
