This guy is not playing

That’s a stock 660 with a 36” hardnose bar.

Plenty of the trees here will give you rashes that will send you to the medics.
He's humping up and down these mountains with a 660 on his back.

Haven’t found any great saws yet but there still time.

Soooooo....... What did you find available over there? I may have to do the same thing. I have a brother that hops all over the world. I may have to have him send me a 272 or three or four.

Same in Norway. It’s called a sword. “Sverd” is the Norwegian way of spelling it.

Last time I was in Colombia, I didn't see any Husky saws, just Stihl. Pretty good prices on them with the exchange rate but I didn't buy any.
In Brazil, I also saw only Stihl saws. Granted I was in the Amazon area and other regions likely have different brands. The MS650 seemed to be more popular than the MS660. Maybe because of cost? I likely won't be going back to either of those countries as I'm in a different line of work now. My Colombian coffee stash is still holding up though.

After reading this thread, I looked up Husqvarna-Mexico and they still have 281XPs and 365's. My brother is US government contractor and he spends a lot of time down in Mexico. So, I may have him go check out how much they are.

Nice I wonder if Husqvarna has a store right across the border.

I'm sure, but good luck surviving long enough in a border town to get one! I just noticed on the US Husqvarna page that the 365 is still listed. I haven't seen a 365 at my local Husqvarna dealer ever. I thought they had been discontinued in the US. The 281 is the one I'm most interested in anyway.

I can't imagine it would be a problem just to order one directly from a non-USA dealer as long as they were willing to ship it. I seriously doubt customs is going to be checking for a chain brake and smog sticker unless you were bringing in shipping containers full of them.
