Upstart chain

Anyone try the upstart components chain from amazon they are running full chisel for 10.50 a loop plus shipping for most 20 inch chain i looked at or is it most likely chinese.

Been running this upstart chain since i asked about them. this was straight out of the box today
Stumping.
It really wakes up after a good handfile
Imho it's comparable to oregon in it's hardness and edge retention.
Stihls a bit harder and three time's more expensive.
These are 10.25 per loop shipped from walmart
Of all places.

Sucks they don't offer longer than 20" loops.
I've ordered over 20 loops for friend's
That's all they run now
Have to order 4 more for a firewood seller.

They really sock it to you on chain down there. I can get stihl 20" for $30 or so here, buy one get one half off, I can get the same deal on Oregon chains here but it's about the same price.

been dropping and stumping dead ash i handfiled it once
No edge deformation still sharp
I cut and blocked some of the six ash.

47.70 for 2 stihl 72dl
If they happen to have a sale.
Nah I'm done i still have a bunch of stihl chains
And oregon,windsor and carlton
Easch has positive and negatives.
But for 10-11.00 a loop and it cut's this good
I'll keep running it.

At $10-$11 a loop for 3/8 20” is appealing. Archer chain wasn’t bad, I won’t buy TriLink again.

Teach him those little jigs husky makes pretty sweet and easy.

I bought an 036 from a guy who owned a cedar fence company. He didn't own any files, just bought new chains when they were dull. I got the saw and all the chains. Over 10. Many Stihl green safety bumper link, with a few nice 3/8 Full Chisel chains mixed in. Like brand new after a few swipes, and the price was right. And the saw was super nice!
