Funny story, there was one for sale local to me and I managed to get his price down where I wanted it but we didn't get a chance to meet and do the deal as he's a farmer and got busybwitj harvest. In the mean time @Redbull661 talked me out of it as I already have the monster 261. I wonder what he would day now after running a TM241...

Nick, I would get the 261. If you regularly need a 24" bar commercially you probably should be in 70cc territory. I don't know what Scott thinks about 441's but I know Randy is quite fond of them and thinks they are often under valued.

If the 441 could be had affordably that would be one thing. I feel it's a bit expensive for the performance out the box for the weight. Maybe my perception is skewed?

Gary, my most commonly used bar length is 28", I have 4 that are 28".

What's wrong with the 2260? I know you said that it's Tango Uniform, but how? Is it financially worth fixing or is it worse? If not, for what you've described, as a firewood hack, a ported 261 or 550xp would do it, BUT, I think you'd be far happier with the 562xp, if it's got to be an Autotune. Carb, I'd think VERY hard about a 6100 Dolmar. I won't sell my 562 to get one, but I wouldn't B-word if one fell into my lap and there's already 2x 60cc saws in the barn at the moment...

Got my 16” bar on today, much better match for the saw. This is with the factory 6 pin and a 63PM chain. I have 2 PS3’s on order to see how I like them.
