I guess I better start sellin some stuff. If you count builds in process, I'm at 5 066/660s!!!
I got a tidy late model 660 that Randy ported which ain't going anywhere but now that the 661 has been out a while & kinda had some bugs sorted, when the right one with low hours in an R model presents itself I'll bite. Even stock I think it will give my ported 660 a run for its money.

Im just messin with yall fellows ! Lol! The 390 is very strong but I like 661s also. The last 661 we ran beside the 390 had a muffler mod and maybe a gasket delete but the best I remember in about 22" pine the 390 was about an average of about 3 to 4 sec. Through the cut faster bucking. The 661 running 3/8 and the 390xp 404 so not a fair comparison really. Overall to me the 661s are very strong, balance really well, smooth, and very comfortable to operate:)
