There is this evergreen tree I saw down here in south Georgia in which I've never seen before. Definitely not native to these parts. I was thinking it was some sort of spruce, larch or tamarack but I can't identify it in any reference book or online.

The needles are from an inch to an inch and a a half, either singular on the branch or in clusters of 20 or so. Needles are pointy and do not have a "piney" scent more of a "green" scent. No sort of cones to be seen.

Any help is appreciated.IMG_20180402_1150553-01.jpeg
