I tried the saw this morning and found it wouldn't idle....'L' screw was wound right in! After a few adjustments, it runs perfectly, all I need is a bar! It's a '09 model that looks like it's only done a few hours work.

I've never had a 441 before, what are they like?
They suck, send it to me. Just kidding, you must be good buddies with your dealer.

I am good buddies, they are a really nice family team. They just don't bother selling secondhand saws - to my benefit :)

So far I've scored an early 034, a very tidy 026, an early 024 and now the MS441.:applaudit:

I’ve got to stop carrying cash. One of the guys at the tree service brought this in and wanted to know if I was interested. I spent 30 minutes working on it and got it running we agreed on $80. I’m pretty sure it’s an 08S. Can Anyone confirm this?

@ramrat Have you run that CS62 yet? I had one for a while and sold it. I really regret that. It's got torque like a big saw.

I did a few cuts with it. The saw has some carb issues that need to get work out. Some one took of the carb limiter caps need to find the carb setting specs and start over tuning it.

I have the Milwaukee version of them and all are badass! The 3/8 18v is 210 ft-lbs and the 12v stubby is 250 ft-lbs and the monster 18v 18v is like 1200 ft-lbs! Yes the big one can get it done! With ease in most cases! The little ones are great for most stuff will take off one ton lug nuts but not with ease, the big 1/2 dose not even have to work!
We have the M18 impacts at work. The 3/4 drive is 1200 ft-lbs loosening and 750 tightening. They work well and save a lot of time when taking stuff apart. Some times they wont fit and good old knock wrench gets it done.
