I pulled the muffler, it’s a boost port. I’m going to replace the broken rear handle and then I’ll get it running. It has a 36” bar on it, I’m curious to see how well it pulls it

City of Greenville had this on Govdeals last week. Picked it up today. Faint scoring on a new piston. Cleaned up nicely. They were nice enough to put $300 of new parts on it in February before giving up and letting it go to auction. Tilly fuel inlet elbow lost it’s seal and was sucking air. Had a spare HT7 and she’s a runner. All I need now is a boat for this anchor.

Need a top cover, recoil and clutch cover if anyone has any.

I'm just glad they didn't ruin the new piston. Last OEM piston I bought was about $65-70 for one of these. That was about 3yrs ago. Current dealer price is $147.15. My parts guy told me they also bought a new intake boot, oil seals and a few smalls. They have the city contract. I'm pretty happy with it, I swear when I first bid on it I was gonna flip it and make a buck. Hard to come by these in really nice condition. Looks like I'll be selling off some other saws instead. Lol!!!

Need a top cover, recoil and clutch cover if anyone has any.

Gotcha covered on two of the three...recoil and top cover. Top cover has the three screws, recoil does not have any of the four screws. Both are in pristine shape...will look good on your 455 Rancher. Joe, @Onan18 was kind enough to send me these last year...was looking at building up extra parts for saws I have. I rarely use the 455, and mine is in great shape cover-wise, recoil, etc.

Not familiar with exact screw size for the recoil, get with Joe, he’ll probably know the p/n off the top of his head. PM me Dan with your shipping addy...more than happy to move these parts forward to help you out!

Yep. They call this the 'classic' or 'vintage' model. Last few years it has been sold near Thanksgiving for $299. Great, basic saw.

Cheap to make, since the tooling was paid off a long time ago.
