My grandfather had the 2wd 454 version about 30 years ago.

BMF.

Pass everything but the gas station.

We put salt on our vegetables around here so it never got the chance to look like that.

It’s probably been reborn as a Kia or a Husqvarna by now.

Oh how that has crossed my mind. I could even settle on a 4bt in front of the 4l80. Save some weight and make it fit in there a little easier.

4bt is 30.6 " long.
Big thing is my fabercoble skillz are only hackery level 3 so I'll go the easier way and enjoy the modest gain in mpg.

The 350tbi in is allegedly 300 ftlbs. If I can achieve that or a smidge more and maybe pass every other gas station, I'd be happy.

Cost me $20 but I think that was fair. Wish they still had the chainsaw sign but a former employee stole it on the way out. If they get it back it's mine. But I'm not going to hold my breath.
