So since theres a few guys watching this thread go up a few and look at the Partner saw i posted. Does anyone know anything about them? If its good, if its junk? It says husky on it. I also noticed it has a two piece gas tank. Kinda new to this but i think thats a bad idea. Please let me know what everyone is thinkin!

Sweet Jred! Appreciate the feedback. Ive yet to cut with this saw. Cant wait to get it in the wood. 49cc saw with a factory 13" bar. 11/1/4" sticks past the dogs. I think its gonna be a lil ripper!

@ray benson should be able to help you with some info on that saw. I have zero experience with that one nor have I seen one before. Most of my stuff is all old lol.

If he can't find the info then it just about doesn't exist lol. He's a great guy on top of it all. Sorry I couldn't help but my experience is with the late 70''s and 80''s saws.
Man a contact of a guy that might know about it is a huge help! Being the guy said it came from Europe i prob have some saw that u cant get parts for:) but its cool, its black, and if it cuts schit im happy! Plus i think i got a good deal so even happier

Unless they stated re-using the model number on a newer saw, the old school partner 5000 has no relationship to the 2009 saw.
I'd guess it's a Jenn Feng product if anything...

Yes it doesn't resemble a old 5000 much at all.

Sure doesn't look like a Partner 5000. Googled cylinder number and it comes up a McCulloch 4900.
A little more searching shows a newer 5000 version in europe - that must have what boskaerm meant - not the old version.

All of them lol.

I don’t have that mug of a truck. Directionally can someone offer some light. I know the twin cylinder stuff is liked but any others? I’ll go once for sure and get what I want and take pictures of the rest.

Pictures will really help, and keep a eye out for any 125 stuff.

As a generality anything that says Pro, Pro Mac, Super Pro is pretty good if it looks like a 10-10 style and all metal, also of course anything big 100cc plus.
If it's made of plastic, not so much.
