I once found an 028 in the back of a pawn shop that was literally crushed. Everything visible was damaged, except for maybe a fuel cap. I carried it up to the front and asked 'how much', just in case someone on one of these threads needed some small, obscure part. Guy spent a few minutes typing into his computer and said, "$300". Did not even try to respond to him.

I found 2 Makita dcs6421 chainsaws at a local store... they want $280 each. Is that a good deal?

I know it is compared to a new saw but these were used as rentals. The guy behind the counter was real helpful and said they kept up all the maintenance on them... what is your take?

Yes the ex Home depot rental saws usually start around 320ish iirc.

Yes the ex Home depot rental saws usually start around 320ish iirc.
