Finally got around to digging into this homelite 410 that I picked up recently for $40. I put a kit in the carb, new fuel lines & new intake and it runs really good. Nice torquey US built reed valve firewood saw.

Today’s grab from a retiring logger in my area. All hi hour saws but all have compression but the 056 feel like it might be marginal to n arm test.

And appears to be full of compression as well. I ended up taking it all to my storage locker so it will be a little while before I start plucking them back out to see what they all need for sure.

I looked at piston on the 660 that didn't run and tried fuel down carburetor and it was no go. Has compression but something felt amiss and found spark plug was loose but once I removed the spark plug found the center of the electrode had slid down against the tip of the spark plug shorted it out. Put a different plug in it and and it fired and idle the fuel off. both 660s need fuel lines they are very soft before they get run time. Haven't looked at the 460s yet. 056 runs with fuel down carb as well.

Me afraid to tell what I paid cause I know to many people wont sleep to well.

The pro mac is in really nice shape

Well,
If you need to get rid of an 1122, I know a guy.

He’d probably be in for a package deal with the Pro 10-10 too, especially if you were in Southern Iowa...

NW Iowa. I might sell the 10-10 but them Stihls are staying for now. I need something to tinker with during the long winter months. Going to be a while before I do anything as I'm still working tree jobs everyday until the weather turns
