Just like Jon said just opening the slot a little bit. It will still work fine on your Husky saws.

Looks like a first year poly wheel and decomp with an 064 or 066 tank handle or the wrong fuel cap.

Mine is a poly flat top short oil tank with the right narrow tank handle.

Looks just like mine minus that fuel cap. Let us see inside with the air filter off please.
I'll get my serials and a pic tonight. That saw looks like it was made just before my saw was. Mine is a plastic cover with a metal carb box and HD filter style.
