View attachment 134399 Well my new Makita RBC2510 trimmer came in today from the UK thanks to @ajschainsaws. This is the old Robin design that the EPA won’t let us have anymore here in US. My old Robin is getting some age on her and I figured it was time to get another primary trimmer and use the old one sparingly. Got to say the blue will have to grow on me but I guess it’s whats under the hood that counts.

Btw the Echo I was going to get locally was 399.00 plus tax. I got this one here for about 60.00.
you got the Makita for $60 ? Can I get 3 at that price lol

IKR!

So $460 ish for some pre EPA awesomeness then! Is that a split shaft?

I am not sure. Does that mean the shaft will unbolt from gear head and power head? I know it will accept attachments like chainsaw, hedge cutter etc.

So it is like a Kombi/ pas system then?

That's nice.
