Well he wants me to cut it down it's not that big ? So I may cut down de-thorn buck it up and have him deliver for cutting up ? Or push it over the hill ? Thanks

When de-thorning use the top of your bar so the chips are being thrown away from you. Those thorns will go through jeans without a blink. Black locust thorns carry toxins, honey locust thorns do not. They are bad to puncture a tire though.

What about this one. I have a few of these by the house that I have been wondering about. Im thinking maple but what kind?

All of them are full of these “flowers” still. I tried to knock a whole one down to get a picture but they just explode into a bunch of singles and fly to the ground like helicopters. But, they dont look like the “helicopters” from maples im used to but maybe it’s because its December.

Ok, got another one. My ignorance alone will keep this forum alive. Anyways, i was cutting down a bog dead/dying maple and glanced over and saw this tree. Wasn’t real big but big enough so i sawed it down too. The smell......awful. I feel like I need to give my saw a bath after that one.
