The rebirth of a 272 begins. Stripped down pressure washed and in the oven now. OEM gasket set, and SKF bearings (in the freezer).

Crank installed and case tightened up

Forgot to order the oring for the oil pump but its cleaned up ready to pop it on

Made a few mistakes along the way. Forgot a fuel filter, oil pump oring, biggest was I fotgot to remove the off switch when I put it in the oven. Still have clean up the clutch cover and recoil. All OEM parts except the piston and felling spikes.

Nice looking build. I forget simple parts quite often, pain in the crack lol

Stop switch installed, and fuel filter. Still waiting on the oil pump o-ring, throttle bellows. Getting there a little piece at a time.

Just stack some nuts or washers up on those long bolts to take up the slack.

Already stopped at the hardware store, pressure and vacuum tested before going to work today. Should have it running by the weekend.
