Who's going to be going on a vacation and where are you going?

As some of you know we bought a camper this year and I plan on taking it somewhere in the smoky mountains this coming year.

I'm always looking for places or things that are not so touristy (Disney World) and more off the beaten path.

I kind of thought this thread would be helpful to share not so well-known interesting things to see.

Exactly...what the hell is this 'vacation' you speak of?? Lol

I've had a camper for years and it don't see much action anymore. My bass boat sees what little time I get to take off, it seems.

What's a vacation?

Vacation is where you go away and never come back. Come on forest.

Or as I like to think of it where you go in the Forest and don't come back till you have a nice buck.

I tend to spend my summer vacation around Truman Lake chasing hybrids and Blue cat and in the fall I make a trip to Oregon or Idaho. I work 4 on 4 off so I get a lot of free time to play around here.

Since I just came off vacation I didn't go anywhere stayed local and hunted. Now I'm going on vacation to Smethport, Pa for deer gun opener.

Went across Canada to Labrador and the East coast and came home thru the USA,
One item off the bucket list.

Im spending all next fall chasing that bad boy in my profile pic. He is still alive along with one nearly the same size.

Bad shoulder. only been using 2yrs compound prior and hope to get back to it.

I'm hoping the low bear harvest in Pa extends into first couple days of gun never got a bear.
That is a big bear in your avatar. Heard of em living 42yrs in the Adirondacks

Im not saying he will make 600 but he will scare the hell out of 550. I'd have to think,I think my buddy took 9 bears off three properties this fall.

Going to Hawaii in February. A friend owns a condo on Maui. I do maintenance on it for free rent for two weeks. Boy am I getting screwed on this deal.
