Dang things are made all over the world and likely because of possibly the time period or where it was made could have some variations in the name plate .Fact I've got two 038 mags with much different plates .

There was a thread on as before the link bucks debacle, that someone found out there was a dealer out west (I think) that had those plates made.

I would say that a personalized name plate would be about as effective regarding performance as go faster bumper bolts on a '57 Chevy .

Does anyone know the real differences between stock oem coil and Ducati coil?
I have a Stihl coil that has Ducati on it. It is not the blue coil.
Just curious what the actual differences are to weigh the benefits out.

No sir. Just a plastic bag with no Stihl number on it.

But I did come up with this. Same number stamped in plastic on coil.

It looks like one of the universal 0000-400-1300's that were used on many models but the part number comes up to the 015, 020, and FS 200 and 202. Not aware that Ducati made coils for Stihl, but wouldn't be surprised. They obviously used several vendors.

Changed my post. It`s a other coil in that picture with the Stihl part no. But Poge told you where that is used. The ducati coil in your 1st pic, I don`t know.

Thank you guys for the insight.
I wonder if I call Stihl if they would tell me anything or any more?

This bastard is limited, it’s a 441 coil. Would be curious to know the part number for the unlimited 441 coil if there is one out of curiosity. Wouldn’t be a performance gain, more for a ease of tuning... saw runs great with limited coil. Might just leave it. DAB2AB34-712F-428E-9CB1-272BE6C83BA4.png
