built this from the crank up. Can’t get it to fire up . Won’t get gas to the carb. Runs if I spray some two stroke thru intake

Did you clean and rebuild the carb? Be sure to check your impulse line.

I bought a new rebuild kit and did the gaskets. New fuel lines and filter. Haven’t checked the impulse line yet

You can just pull the carb and drop a little oil into the impulse line to see if it draws it in with vac. May have a crack or split in it. May just need more prime, too.

Where are ya in Ohio? I'm north central.

It might have have something to do with the MS 200T being the best arborist saw ever made .It was so good they replaced it with the 201 T which most people really don't care for .< that should cause a rukus :argue:

Why is it that every tree service company runs stihl saws, is it because————-

Stihl has done a masterful job of cultivating their brand image and reputation. To the point that, their products would have to become total garbage to make their customers use anything else.

If I had a tree service and provided saws for the crew I would roll with Echo. Cheaper to begin with, parts easier to find and cheaper, and they handle abuse better than just about anything. Ideally, I would pay the guys a bit more per hour and tell them I provide fuel and oil, they provide the saws. Your saw broke down? Clock out or use the misery whip pal!

Because they keep on trucking and last a very very long time vs cutting though a log quicker but having a lot shorter life span, more costs in repairs

Stihl has made a tough saw for years, very reliable, taken many years to get the reputation to servive in the saw market, John deer has a very good reputation but couldn’t make it in the saw market

ADC0ABBC-0D11-4783-9AB0-B0E40C4A93F9.jpeg Working on switching a cylinder on a 362 because it tried to fly. Pulling apart and notice a Bosch plug made in China. I realize they are trying to save money but how much can you honestly save on a spark plug.
