Old one like I have, it’s little rougher than it was when I got it. Got it real cheap original owner went to trade in at the dealer they offered him 80$. He put in paper for 200$ and I snatched it up. You’d have to give me a price or what your you’d want as a trade.

Need a 50” plus large mount stihl bar for my 48” grandberg. The 41” isn’t long enough and I end up using my 72” double ended mill.

don't use it often, but is nice to have when needed.

there is a 070 on c/l here. think it's down to bout $500. now. started quite a bit higher few mo. ago.

I’m would never dream of one for 200 again that was luck. I value them at 5-600$ depending on shape. Yours is more like the 600 range, would much rather buy a nice all original than a rattle can restoration. I wouldn’t sell mine for 500$ I have stuff to build an 051 and I’ll run that opposite my 075 on the big mill for now. Trying to set them all up with saws that stay on them for the most part. Run the 090 on my 48” and maybe put my 064 on my 30” grandberg for now and later I’ll set the 051 up on it when I get another 075,070 or 090. The 090 was given to me by a friend that didn’t use it anymore along with the 48” grandberg. Only condition was if he needed to mill a log I’d come help.

Sounds high, could swear a 461 is 850 here, don’t even handle the 441 same weight less power so it didn’t sell.

On a Facebook site near me, asked to be put on the site but haven’t been accepted yet. Was thinking the brush cutter would be nice I imagine it should be more of a clearing saw than little brush cutter.

That's a real nice one right there. A little steep, but real nice. Paid $70 for mine which too has the old 'log' logo on the recoil cover.
There's also a post-hole auger attachment for that power head. It's quite a bit more than just a clearing saw!

I suppose it would depend on the condition of the brush cutter, the value you put on it, and how much use both the saw and the attachment will actually see. As I mentioned though, that looks like a very nice 08-S right there! But also bear in mind that the 08-S uses the same problematic SEM ignition as the 045 and the 056. I don't believe there is a Bosch version for that saw like there is for the 1115 series if you were of a mind to convert it in the event the SEM should fail. That stated, the TS350 chop saw version of the 08-S also uses the SEM and is often an overlooked source if you would ever happen to need one.
