8 pin and new full comp Oregon LGX with two licks from a square file.

Should be part 181-132-062. They show up on Fleabay from time to time, any Dolly/Makita dealer can get it for you.

All you Dolmartians who would like a better recoil housing sticker for your 5105 or other Dolly saws, the gent I bought mine from is now selling them on Fleabay. The picture on the listing is not so good with some "fuzz" on the bottom, the stickers I got from him look great. He can give you a much better deal if you get more than one, and he is very happy to do special requests or other models.

The price difference must be from the extra 15cc hiding in there. I've never tried a stock 50cc saw as strong as my 5105. Even people not familiar with saws are impressed by it!

sadly, both are Mahle cylinders, same piston and ring. only difference is the open port vs closed port....3.3hp vs 3.9hp

My today's work crew, left to right, Dolmar PS-7310 & Dolmar 099 chain, Dolmar PS-6400 & Stihl RD3 carbide chain, Dolmar PS-7900 & aggressive TriLink semi chisel chain, Sachs-Dolmar 108 & Stihl PD3 carbide chain.


The little Sachs-Dolmar 108 didn't get used, nightfall caught me and forced me to stop having fun.
I spent a tank of fuel on each of the other ones.

I am not liking the high pitched sound at WOT under load of my PS-7310, stock muffler.
I'm curious as to how she'll sound once muffler modded.
First logs she bucked since she's in my possession, nice power, still needs some tuning though.

FYI, this is what You get when You run the new/current clutch drum on Your elder built Dolmar/Makita 64xx/73xx/79xx without replacing the 0.5mm thin shim (washer/spacer) with the new/current 1.7mm thick one!

You might know this. What was the extra decal for? The i carb part maybe?
We had a discussion years ago on my site on the extra, but for the life of me cant figure out why on this saw.

I have no idea Kev, None of mine have the extra but are SI's with the
flippy thingy for the choke or enrichening valve.

Yeah that’s a nice specimen fun saw to use never ever seen the extra on any models over here

But I did have a 117 or a 120 with a bing carb years ago I made one saw out of both parts saw , and I can’t remember which saw had the bing
