All this talk about the PS-5105 and one pops up for sale in the Croatia local classifieds.

I haven't cut any serious amount of firewood in about a month, but I really need one of these!!! :aplastao:
Called the seller, he said he's busy and that I call back tomorrow.

Just checked the ad, it's marked inactive - I hope due to pending sale to me.

Pop can ?

I cut a beer can and it measures just barely .2mm. I would have to stack three of them on top of each other to get my squish right. It would be too much of a risk for air leaks. Not saying I haven't done it before....;) My little Tanaka top handle runs great with a beer can base gasket.

Buy some gasket material at a scootershop. 0,25 and 0,50 mm exist.

I think I will check in to it when I go to town later in the week. There is a place there that has gasket material.

My bad if not, was just going by what Mike had said, maybe we had miscommunication on our texting, wouldn't be the first time.lol it is the fastest 50cc saw I own though, and I like that it stays upright also when setting down.

T4 driller has a lot of time into building this one for me, I feel like my 5105 and 7910 are probably the only saws I would NEVER need honestly, still excited about a certain jred this week though.
and I will send them too the U.K.

Hey Dustin fixed that for ya

Anyone running 3/8 on there 5105s? Curious how it does, I run .325 with an 8 pin, thinking 3/8 with a 7 might be about the same.

It is about the same tried it on a 115 I thought the .325 was smoother
But others will probably say different but that was on fir

I'm running 3/8 on my 5105 with an 18'' bar. I have tried both .325 and 3/8 and the 3/8 is noticeably faster. If you have the power 3/8 will cut faster and is easier to sharpen. (My opinion.)

Seller sold the saw, but not to me.
He claims someone came and picked her up yesterday in the evening.
Can't blame him either, if he got how much he asked for the saw why bother with packing and shipping?!

Shame really, factory bar and chain one new chain included, next to no scratches nor rash on the PH.

Now the wait for another one to pop up begins all over again.
This one took about a year to appear since the last one vanished.

It fell through, maybe for the best - money don't grow on trees You know.

I hope I'll somehow manage to get by with my current lineup.

It is a bad little dude. If I were in the market it is what I would buy.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again....nice looking lineup of 64/73/7900's you got there. They are way clean compared to mine. I take pretty good care of my saws and they are still filthy....I cut a lot of pine so the sap gets everywhere. Keeping a saw clean with sap is a bish!
