Tried to see what 330 380 3450 3750 crankcases I have left. Checking I think I got enough parts left to build 2 more 100% complete saws.
Just getting out of this series and selling off parts etc.

Helping others out to keep theirs going since alot of parts going NLA last couple years.

Guys looking for those poulan 4000 395 pulleys dont pay those ebay gouging prices listed. I know a dealer that still has some in stock.
I am asking him if he wants me to buy the 2 or just send folks to him. If I have to buy them I will sell for my total cost plus the shipping for the guys in need of these.

Excuse my ignorance but is this the starter pulley for a 4000?

Yes. Pretty sure the pulley that was on that 4000 recoil I sent you was still good. I think it had a bad flywheel was why it was running a 3400 set up.

The 2 you have and the top is 4000 pulley.

Seen a poulan 330 54cc with the 22" 3/8 for sale. Sticker shows 2007. While I was out I found a JD bar cover to put on the shop wall too.
I was told poulan ran. It did. But needed a air filter cover, air filter base being the stud was broke off in base and drywall screw was used to hold cover onto base, both right side lower AV's were ripped apart, fuel line needed replaced. The issue with the recoil was the rusted and broken recoil spring. Thank goodness I still had all those parts still.

Went ahead and pulled the tube out of muffler and opened up the inside cage too.

I put a 20" to test with. After pics

So what you want for 4000 rings?

Just seen you were looking for some on my site years back. Soon as I get this info to be sure NOS.

Pulleys and thin rings in hand. 1 NOS pulley and 1 used IMO.

The rings come in the sleeve and sold to me as NOS. But would like to make sure. I never measured the last NOS 4000 PP395 ring sets.
Like to know the width of ring. Anyone have a NOS one to measure please?

Like I did with the 2100 thin rings = New 2.07mm and used set 1.82mm and 1.86mm.

I know the thickness is .55mm

No longer need width info. Todd got it for me.

Had to go back in the carb on the S25DA. Picked up garbage from somewhere.
I broke the carb isolator spacer last time. Glued it together with some ultra gray sealer. Can do that again, but I dont know if I trust it.
I have two other parts saws here. Neither has the plastic spacer between the carb and the reed plate. Does anyone know if I can just put the carb straight to the reed plate, use a set of shorter bolts from one of the parts saws, and go with it?

that should be doable, but maybe your choke lever will no linger fit into the choke-shutter and maybe you'll need to bend
the throttle rod to fit.

Thought of that. See what differences between that saw and the parts saw linkages and use shutter or lever from parts saw if need be.
Just wondered if not having the spacer would affect performance. Its a little hoss right now. Good torque for smaller stuff.

PM me if you want them and price. I just tagged you in your old thread too on CR.

With my cheap calibers and just doing it quick before heading to lake. I was getting 03-06.

Had time today to take my time to measure and check over closer.

Poulan 4000 PP395 parts NOS and used. I just went through the parts I bought to help others keep this series of saws going.

The 4000 PP395 pulleys IMO is 1 nos and 1 used as I can see where the pawls turned on it. Both have that normal stress gap at the seam in the plastic area. But checked both over and both super tight and ready to go.

The 3 4000 PP395 thin rings I got in are 1 nos and 2 used set. NOS width is 2.06 and the 2 used measure 2.03 so not wore much at all.
