I have under the bench those 2 micros, and a S25da. Fixed an oil leak on the 3700, oil pump gasket was leaking. May have to pull it again, auto oiler barely dribbles and oil and manuel pump works if you use it once and pause for a few seconds the you can push the lever again. I looked at the diaphragm and it was real pliable.

My 3700 works exactly like that. What do you think the issue is? I always just thought it was the nature of it.

It's good idea to replace both gaskets on the pump. Any air leaks will kill the pumps capability. Those pumps do wear out. The check ball must be free as well. I've seen a few that are stuck.

That's what I read, about the check balls but it's been too cold to mess with it and too cold to cut.

The video on YouTube with a 5500 that has a broken handle has the same type of muffler. I'm not an expert on old school poulans.

I have a 6000 that sure could use a decent muffler, them things iz sure hard to find.

I have no spare one, on ebay germany are a few for sale.
Does your 6000 have the full wrap?
