Just my luck that the old cow would have a calf on the coldest, snowiest, first day of spring, only me!! Over 6 inch's here today.

Just my luck that the old cow would have a calf on the coldest, snowiest, first day of spring, only me!! Over 6 inch's here today.
I’ve got one this morning. She hadn’t stood yet. Laying in wet snow and water. I took out two bales of straw and built a nest to try to get the little thing up out of the slop. Pretty concerned I may lose this one. Momma was easy with me. I’m gonna try to go get her up in a few minutes. I left her outside as the sun is bright and calf is black. Didn’t have time for a picture Trying to work fast.

What is the reason for air brakes on a tractor? Never heard of that around here. And we have some big tractors.
I think it’s for going down the road. The weight of some spreaders will push great big tractors around when you try to stop. Maybe good for hills an stuff too

Agreed. If you look at the wear on those tires you can tell that tractor spends a lot of time on black top.

It dried up a little today, so I decided I would work one of the sweet corn patches with the old antique John Deere offset. Still works good after all these years.

Since I am old, tired, and crippled, I decided to treat myself to a brand new Rhino batwing for Christmas this year. Sure beats the old 10' Sidewinder that parts are NLA.
