Fished one out of the creek yesterday,had to take it up a steep bank ,got it to the top,then I slid down and went for a swim. Boy do I love ranching! I’m getting a little old for this!!


What temp have you got there , man that was a shock for the body taking a dip

There’s a few farms short of grub over here one or two who got some dry pasture laid out too Italian ryegrass have been cutting
Grass each day with a double chop harvester for mixing in the feeder wagon

managed to get a photo of the jf harvester that's cutting the fresh grass for the feeder wagon

We call them flail choppers around here. Used to chop Sudan grass with ours. The holsteins we had loved it. We had a an old gehl wagon with metal head gates all the way around it just pulled it into the lot. The old girls would knock you down trying to get it.

You buy Deere batteries?

NO! not for the last 14 years, Been using napa batteries for years, Thinking about going back to JD batteries. Not sure yet, I can get the Fisher batteries for about $80.00 less, but they only lasting couple years,

Is that from the front end of your tractor? I thought I saw that you posted a pic of those earlier in this thread.

Yes. Had to wait for some parts to come from Germany. Finally got it all back together & it made bad noises. I didn't catch that they gave me the wrong shafts for the spiders. They were to long & were hitting the pinion gear. :mad:

It's not what I was thinking. The one in my 7320 is just a touch smaller than the 4dlt & I haven't found an aftermarket that will fit.
