@Bigmac did he tell you he might be selling it to a guy in MI? I was trying to get him to mess with you.
That might be the best $200 road trip you ever made! I’m happy for ya man, good snag.

Also check the front seam on the tank. Some tanks split the glued seam there then will leak their oil out.

It is in good condition, few little thing needed, has a crack in the wrap handle and a small crack in the plastic top cover, the air filter cover in in good shape but some one scratched there name in it! Has great compression, starts great and idles perfect with a good Oiler, the recoil needs some cleaning it is a little sticky, and the muffler and tank look great, no leaks. Lots to clean up, but it feels like a solid saw!! I am excited

Nice score - I think I recognize that thar bridge. You're a ways north of me.

Bottom of the handle looks a little rough...

I contacted the seller. Says it has no spark and the top end should clean up after I asked him what it looked like.

Thanks! And thanks for the heads up on potential issues, it was nice to know what to look for! He didn’t mess with me too bad, we started talking saws and then he started asking me all kinds of questions about my truck, sow we got sidetracked..

It's not like I'm after it but that seems a little high to me.
The coil is next to impossible to find, and top end parts aren't much easier. It's to bad because it's pretty clean.

Bummer. Are coil failures common on them ?
Not real common, but it does happen. The farmsaw had coil failures all the time though. Two different style coils.
