    If you use a veg based bar oil, noodles make good mulch around trees/plants they kinda lock together and won't blow away.

    Made pine noodles just for fun over the weekend with my 5100. That little sumbeech clears noodles better than my bigger saws.

    Depot rental special 6421. Best $300 I've ever spent. Stock 3/8 .050 set up, bar was trashed so I put a cheap Oregon on it, cut out the cat, and opened it up a little. It gets a little clogged up, but rips some nice noodles[​IMG]
