Thanks, I really like their breed. Good behaving dog that doesn't bark. Doesn't get better than that.

A guy I worked with had one he tried to give away. 2 year old male. It pizzed on anything that didn’t move, including his little kids. lol That’s just poor/stupid training and he qualified for the poor/stupid.

I had a Vizsla years ago. Trained to go everywhere without a leash. Looks just like yours except he was rust colored. Man he was a great dog.

Here is Sammie my grandpa gave him to me about 3 years ago. He was a great coon dog this is only about half the coons we caught that year. He just died Saturday 11/18/17 he was a young 10 years old. We think he had some sort of cancer. But he was still treeing coons 2 days before. We put up 4 that Thursday night only 20 yards from the truck. When you talk about a coon dog this guy was the real deal.

Sorry to hear. I have a friend that raises them for rabbits. He's in PA. I believe he's got one left if you are looking.

sorry to hear that you lost a great friend. i guided some guys that hunted coons years ago on the Susquehanna river on the big islands. nothing like a dog bawlin treed.

Wow. Didn’t realize we had our own dog forum.

This is ruby. She’s 2 years old. She does accelerant detection, and next we’re training for human remains detection. The trainer that I started obedience with, runs a search and rescue team and has several dogs in tracking, human remains detection.... and so on. Ruby doesn’t have the nack for retrieving,but her nose and drive are great.

Agreed i used to have some black mouth curs and catahoulas i used to bay hogs.nothing like a dog with one stopped baying like a bish especially in a cypress pond or creek bottom.
