Not competing at least this year if this becomes a thing, but I'm new here so this will be a good way get to know folks. Bought my kit last year or so as a play toy/ backup saw. Mine has oem bearings and seals in it so that puts it out of the running anyway. Have about 6-7 gallons though mine now. I haven't had the time to port it yet.
I have .025" off the key. Gutted the baffle and opened up the muffler. The base of my jug was .009 from perpendicular with the bore across the diagonal of the flange. I machined the 9 thou off just to clean it up. Cleaned up the squish band enough to flatten it and the squish was at .020 without the gasket.
Here's my cylinders numbers without the gasket.
Tdc method
Ex 97
Tran 127
In 89
Duration method
Ex 165.5 (97.25)
Tran 103 (128.5)
In 181.5 (90.75)
Runs pretty well for a junker. Compression last I checked was at 180-185. I'll try to get videos up and pictures once I find the time to machine and port it.
