    lucas spray wax is better.
    i use a pressure washer to clean my saws don't need any soap.

    Baby shampoo is the best cleaner for chainsaws.

    That sounds a lot easier! I've been using a magnesium safe degreaser recently, strip parts and dump them in a bucket of it for a few hours. Rinse off and blast with the air hose

    Sounds like me cleaning pontoons that sat in the lake since 2003. I tried every acid out there. Finally got them somewhat clean after using three different acids to eat the calcium off!
