I never understood why people make comments about "shipping would probably kill the deal" or "it'd probably cost a arm and leg to ship"

Without checking into shipping costs 1st.

I sold 4 pole saws to a member here, I broke them down, 2 power heads per box, all the poles went in a PVC tube, shipped 3 packages (2 boxes with 2 heads per box, and 1 PVC tube with the shafts) from CO to WV, via FedEx, and it didn't cost that much.

I was on phone and it didn't scroll over far enough.

As long as package isunder 8 ft 11 in i have done this with custom fishing rods.anything over 9 ft allmost triples shipping cost.i have had to cut fishing rod butts down
