I'd spend some time on the edges with some 80 grit and get the edges of the nikasil knocked off. Take pics and zoom in and you can see it better

Yep. I did a lot of bevels with a tiny piece of round file and 40-120 grit paper by hand before I had a round diamond ball

Gotta get some better chain. All I had for my 20 was some old carlton. It may just be me but I think the 8 pin is faster.

Your chain is a little dull or rakers might be high. An 8 will be faster until the chain starts to bite harder. Looks like you did a good job

Yeah I'm taking the rakers down some now. Trying to run it again before dark. I'm kinda tickled to be honest.

Well I put 3 tanks of fuel through the tecomec 365 this afternoon cutting some fire wood. Ran great and strong. I adjusted the carb ,backing out both high and low around a half turn and saw seemed to pick up and hold rpms better. Does this seem to be on par for a ported saw?
