Techno Dunce on Posting Pix R2'ed California Trip

Been spending the weekend puttzing around the Sequoia Nat. Park in Tulare/Fresno Counties (Central CA) for the last few days waiting for my crew to get back to work from the weekend,,

Long story short,,, This new computer with Windows 8 is kicking my butt on posting pix so I been sending them to @Mastermind to get him to post them for me

All I can say is Wow!!!!!!!

three of the largest trees on the planet reside here I can describe, them show pix, but until you stand in awe next to one or some it is hard to grasp!!!!

Here's my daughter standing by a Redwood stump in Humboldt county. Big trees are cool.

I never get tired of walking among and looking up at them, spend at least a few days among them each trip out there! Have many hundreds of picts so I can pull them up onscreen and reminisce between trips out West.

The west coast is amazing. I was fortunate enough to do a 3 week motorcycle trip back in 09. Still think about that trip and cannot wait to get back out there. Pictures cannot do any justice to the magnitude of these trees. Truly amazing!

Phase II coming Mid April!!!! I will do my best to get Better pix I promise!!! Imagine bark on a tree that is 18" thick that is impervious to fire so these Humongous Conifers Cones laying on the ground during the fires that do happen (Mostly from Lightning strikes) can explode sending the seeds flying to a new resting spot thus can repopulate the forest,,,,

Amazing trees,,,, The forest service is doing more controlled burns to stimulate growth,,,,
