My neighbor says his Honda mower it quit suddenly, he had to add near a quart of oil!! It only takes .58qt.
So he had run it dry,,,
Says to me can ya look at it.
It has zero comp.

Did the same to a 2015 CRV, he said oil lite never came on.

That is sad, really sad. I heard of being challenged but he seems to be real short of some common sense!

Sounds like he is someone who is not following the service interval for his mower . A yearly oil change on a Honda mower engine in good condition, there should be plenty of oil in the sump to drain and replace . Still not a good reason NOT to pull the dip stick now and again though !

I knew this moron whos mother died and left him a bit of money so he got the motor in his POS holden rebuilt because it was blowing smoke and on its deathbed. Mechanic tells him to keep an eye on the oil levels and call him if theres any issues , gets a call from said moron the next week apparently he took off the oil cap and saw it the level was low and kept filling till it was just below the cap level and he's put about 15 litres of oil into it and now it won't start.......
